Your facial
30 to 60 minutesA facial usually includes cleansing, exfoliation, a mask and moisturiser, with massage of the face and neck. A hydrofacial uses a machine to cleanse, exfoliate and lift out congestion with gentle suction, then applies serums.

After your facial
Leave make-up off for the rest of the day if you can, and go easy on scrubs and strong products for a day or two.
Good to know
- Tell your therapist about allergies, retinol or prescription skin creams, acne medication, pregnancy and any recent skin treatments.
- Some redness for an hour or two is normal after a deep cleanse or a hydrofacial, especially if extractions are done.
- Facials care for the skin's surface. For acne scarring, pigmentation or firmness, our skin treatments are designed for those concerns.
- A facial is not done on sunburnt, broken or freshly waxed skin.

Aftercare
For the rest of the day, leave make-up off if you can, keep your hands off your face, and skip saunas, steam rooms and the gym. Avoid scrubs, retinol and strong acids for a day or two, and wear sunscreen if you are going out. If your skin reacts in a way you did not expect, call the salon.
Our facial treatments
Our facials are grouped by what they do and how long they take, so you can pick by your skin and your time.
- Rebalance facials come in three lengths: mini rebalance (30 minutes), rebalance (45 minutes) and ultra rebalance (an hour).
- The mini facial is a quick 30 minute option.
- Herbal, deep cleansing and hydrating facials are an hour each, and each focuses on one thing.
- Oxygen, gold, luxury, anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation facials are our longer facials.
- Teens and men’s facials are an hour each.
Deep cleansing facial
The deep cleansing facial is the one to book if your skin feels congested or you get blocked pores. It focuses on cleansing, exfoliation and clearing out the pores.
Anti-ageing facial
The anti-ageing facial is an hour long and suits skin that looks tired or dry. A facial cares for the surface of the skin. If you want to work on lines or firmness, ask about microneedling and RF.
Gold facial and oxygen facial
The gold facial and the oxygen facial are about an hour each. If you are booking one before a wedding or event, book a few days ahead rather than on the day, so any redness has time to settle.
Hydrofacials
A hydrofacial uses a machine to cleanse, exfoliate and gently suction out congestion, then applies serums. We have five, from the 30 minute exfoliating hydrofacial up to the full hour, including the Red Carpet Gold hydrofacial with an LED mask.

What is a hydrofacial?
A hydrofacial uses a machine with a wand that cleanses and exfoliates the skin, lifts out congestion with gentle suction, then applies serums. We offer five: an exfoliating hydrofacial, an ultrasound hydrofacial, an ultimate hydrofacial, the full hydrofacial, and the Red Carpet Gold hydrofacial with an LED mask. They take from 30 to 60 minutes, and each is priced on this page.
Which facial is best for congested skin?
For congested skin and blocked pores, most people start with the deep cleansing facial or a hydrofacial, because both focus on cleansing out the pores. If your skin is also sensitive or breaking out, say so before you start, and your therapist will adjust what she uses. If spots leave marks behind, ask about our skin treatments.
What is the difference between all your facials?
The rebalance facials come in three lengths: mini, standard and ultra. The herbal, deep cleansing and hydrating facials each focus on one thing your skin needs. How long does a facial take, and does it hurt?
A facial takes from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on which one you book, and the time is listed beside each price. Most of it is calm and comfortable. Extractions, if your skin needs them, can sting for a moment, and a hydrofacial's suction feels like a light pull on the skin. Tell your therapist if anything is uncomfortable.
Can I wear make-up after a facial?
It is best to leave make-up off for the rest of the day, so your skin can settle and the products from your facial can stay on it. There is no real downtime, though some redness for an hour or two is normal after a deep cleanse or a hydrofacial. Skip saunas and the gym for the rest of the day, and wear sunscreen if you are out.
