Aesthetic treatments by consultation

Aesthetic clinic in Ilford, by consultation

Aesthetic treatments at our aesthetic clinic in Ilford, at 92 High Street, Barkingside, are by consultation only. Nothing is booked online: call the salon, and we will talk you through what is available, who would carry it out and whether it suits you.

What people ask us about first

  • I am thinking about an aesthetic treatment but want to talk it through with someone before deciding anything.
  • I want to know who would actually carry out the treatment and what their qualifications are.
  • I don't want to be rushed or sold something on the day.
  • I would like a clinic close to home in Barkingside rather than travelling into central London.

What you can expect

  • A conversation about what you are hoping for, before any treatment is booked.
  • A clear answer on who would carry out the treatment, and their qualifications, so you can check them yourself.
  • An honest view on whether a treatment suits you, including when the answer is that it does not.
  • The price, what is included and any aftercare explained at the consultation, with time to think before you decide.

How it works

  1. Call the salon

Aesthetic treatments are not bookable on Treatwell. Call us and tell us what you are interested in, and we will arrange a consultation at a time that suits you.

  2. Your consultation

We talk through what you would like, your medical history, any medicines you take and anything that might make a treatment unsuitable. You will be told who would carry out the treatment and what their qualifications are. Ask anything you like.

  3. Time to decide

You do not have to decide on the day. If a treatment is right for you and you want to go ahead, we book it as a separate appointment, and you will know the price and the aftercare before you do.

Good to know

  • Treatments are only discussed and booked after a consultation. Not everyone is suitable for every treatment, and you may be told that one is not right for you.
  • Tell us at the consultation if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, take any medicines, or have had an aesthetic treatment elsewhere recently.
  • Results vary from person to person, and no treatment result can be promised.

Why aesthetics is by consultation only

Aesthetic treatments are different from a facial or a wax. What is suitable depends on your skin, your health and what you are hoping for, and some treatments are not right for some people. So we do not list them for booking online. Instead, every aesthetic treatment starts with a conversation.

What to ask at your consultation

It is your face and your decision, so ask whatever you need to. Useful questions are: who will carry out the treatment, and what are their qualifications? What does the treatment involve, how long does it take, and what is the aftercare? What could go wrong, and what happens if you are not happy? What will it cost in total?

Other skin and face treatments you can book now

If you are looking for something you can book straight away, our skin treatments and facials are all priced and bookable on Treatwell.

Common questions

Is there an aesthetic clinic in Ilford I can talk to first?

We offer aesthetic treatments by consultation at NBA Clinic, 92 High Street, Barkingside, Ilford IG6 2DR, about a 12-minute walk from Barkingside station. Nothing is booked online. Call the salon, tell us what you are interested in, and we will arrange a consultation so you can talk it through before deciding anything.

What happens at an aesthetic consultation?

At the consultation we talk about what you would like to change, your medical history, any medicines you take and anything that might make a treatment unsuitable. You will be told who would carry out the treatment and their qualifications, what is involved, the aftercare and the price. You do not have to decide on the day.

Who carries out the aesthetic treatments?

That depends on the treatment. At your consultation we will tell you who would carry it out and what their qualifications are, so you can check them yourself before you go ahead. If you would like to know before you come in, ask when you call the salon.

How much do aesthetic treatments cost?

Aesthetic treatment prices are not listed on the website, because what is suitable, and so what it costs, depends on the person. The price, and exactly what it includes, is explained at your consultation before anything is booked. If you would like an idea first, call the salon and ask. Our other treatments are all priced on our price list at /prices/.

How do I book an aesthetic consultation?

Call the salon on the number on this page. Aesthetic treatments are not bookable on Treatwell, so a phone call is the way to arrange a consultation. If nobody can answer because we are with a client, try again later in the day. For facials and skin treatments, which you can book online, see our facials and skin treatments pages.
